A NEW BOOKSTORE HAS OPENED ITS DOORS IN ABU DHABI

A new alternative to the bookstores located in the malls

If you haven’t explored the new NYU Abu Dhabi campus located on Saadiyat Island, you really should.

Apart from StudioXY salon that opened in November 2015 (read more here), we also discovered a brand new bookstore in Abu Dhabi which stocks books for NY university students and also has a wide choice of novels for adults, kids, games and accessories.

With practical parking spots along the bookstore facade, we felt it was indeed a wonderful resource to share as it gives shoppers the opportunity to first discover this pedestrian area around the university campus and also relieves you from a trip to the mall.

Another interesting feature is the natural light you have in the shop.  The shelves are packed with various books and items arranged in a manner that encourages you to spend more time discovering the variety of items.

While there, we saw a wide array of coloring books for adults (read more about this latest trend here) from tattoo book to animal kingdom, flowers, mandalas, illusion optical, fashion and many more.

If you are planning to travel soon, there were also many useful items from Go Travel including ear plugs, cabin bottles and luggage tags.

Lastly, as the store just opened, the team was welcoming a and spent time showing us the eclectic novelties such as Humans of New York stories, The Greatest Grid – The Masterplan of Manhattan 1811-2011 or Al Bidiya Mosque, a photography book recently published about the mosque located in Fujairah with pictures taken by Marco Sosa, an architect and assistant professor at Zayed University.
