As coins always strangely disappear whenever we need them and our Mawaqif card is always either empty or lost somewhere in the car, here is our latest excuse why our phones – which never leave us – are our savers.
Thankfully, we discovered a useful app that we obviously downloaded straight away.
Sold on Itunes and priced at 3.69 AED, this app allows you to pay your parking fees both in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, for both Emirates and non Emirates number plate.
Hoes does it work? After downloading the app, enter your card plate number and code. If you pay in Abu Dhabi, choose your parking type (standard or premium), select the number of hours you plan to pay, click on Pay and this will create an SMS sent to RTA. You’re done!
The process is exactly the same in Dubai except you choose the zone code instead of the parking type.
This is a must-have simple to use app that makes life a little bit simpler.
