After a hectic day try this outdoor yoga session in Abu Dhabi

With the cool weather back in Abu Dhabi, we found an interesting monthly outdoor event organized at the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa in partnership with Fit & Flex Studios. Every last Wednesday of the month, join their unique outdoor yoga sessions under the moonlight. We promise these invigorating sessions are worth attending instead of collapsing on your sofa.

We were there for the first session of the season (Wednesday 28th of October 2015) with more than 30 people attending this open air training. A mix of beginners and regulars, teenagers and adults, the lesson is fit for all as every participant is encouraged to go at their own pace.

Barefoot on the lawn, the lush golf and gardens behind us, the palm trees above our head and the moon rising over the hotel during the training, this is a unique setting and experience.

​In this quiet atmosphere, we really enjoyed the casual relaxed vibe as practicing yoga outdoors, on a lawn, by night, with a soft breeze in the air gives a totally different perspective from any usual indoor session.

Once the lesson is over, all participants are welcomed to taste complimentary fresh and healthy drinks prepared by the hotel. Our pick of the smoothie prepared with raspberries, strawberries, mint, rose water, dates and soya milk was a pure delight.

​We cannot wait to join the upcoming sessions at 7.30pm​ at the Westin Events lawn​ scheduled for Wednesday​ 25th of November​ and ​30th of December 2015.

Priced at 100 AED, ​the ​class lasts 75 minutes and includes ​refreshments after the session.
