When it comes to thirst quenchers, it’s hard to beat these 100% natural fruit dairy-free smoothies. The drink looks like a coffee latte, but is made with chickoo fruit. We love the sweet taste – and the fact the drink is nutritious, healthy, high in fibre, and helps to boost our immune system with high levels of Vitamins A and C.
This tiny brownish fruit is also called saponilla in India or mudapple. Depending on the seasons, chickoos may come from the UAE – near Fujairah- and Oman. So, it’s also a way to drink local!
