Complimentary breast cancer screening service for ladies from the 26th of February until the 6th of March 2020
The Galleria Al Maryah Island is continuing its partnership with Pink Caravan, the UAE breast cancer initiative by Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP) to support International Breast Cancer Awareness. From 26 February until 6 March, all female visitors can make their way to the pop-up booth located on level two in front of Caboodle, and avail the free breast cancer screening services.
Ladies can drop by the stand at The Galleria for convenient and comfortable check-ups. Whether dropping the kids off to play at Caboodle, or after a morning yoga session at the Sky Park, all female guests visiting the mall are encouraged to participate in The Galleria’s complimentary initiative with Pink Caravan.
The Pink Caravan booth will be offering screenings along with the opportunity to talk to experts in the field.
The initiative will also provide an educational platform to communicate the causes, symptoms and methods of early detection for breast cancer through its mobile medical booth.
The Pink Caravan Ride is a pan-UAE awareness initiative which runs annually throughout the seven emirates, including remote and outlying areas. Every year, over 150 experienced equine riders across different sectors join forces to bring together schools, universities and businesses in order to showcase their support in fighting breast cancer.
