Brace yourself for the upcoming “cold” weekend where temperatures will be hitting 20˚C/68˚F  and will feel more like -5˚C/23˚F  for those of us living here in the UAE.  In anticipation of the dramatic change in weather we have compiled together a survival kit to fight the winter chill.

Ready for it? Here are four ideas to cope:

– Let’s start with that universally favored comfort drink,  the companion that never lets us down-a mug of hot chocolate. Luckily for us, there are plenty of options to try out in the Capital, such as Godiva at The Galleria Mall on Maryah Island or at Yas Mall on Yas Island, or The Chocolate Gallery at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr that has a unique lemon and ginger flavored hot chocolate (30 AED).

– Winter in Abu Dhabi is the only ideal time (when we won’t sweat up a storm) to get the black tights we long for all year long. – Want more? snuggle at home in a comfy onesie.  Although it usually means no selfie this weekend we have found the perfect comfy accessory to chill at home in.
