Celebrate Christmas the Italian way this year

We all love December and nothing can compete with spending a day outdoors during the festive season.

So, when we heard about Filini Garden, a cozy and lovely new terrace that opened just on time for the Festive Season launch, we knew it’s where we wanted to head to during the winter break.

Filini Garden – which will be open throughout the whole winter – is a newly-opened lounge and dining concept on Yas Island serving Italian delicacies in the Capital.

Feeling traditional? Try the Tacchino Arrosto, created from an Old World recipe with an authentic, artisan taste. The delicious Italian flavour of this roasted butterball turkey breast is locked in during the slow oven roasting process, and served with a chestnut and rosemary stuffing, and cranberry pan juices.

An Italian Christmas couldn’t happen without the classic Panettone?  Filini Garden serves up its homemade baked Panettone with zabaglione filling (a simple Italian custard dessert made with egg yolk and sugar), Italian meringue and chocolate gelato.

You can now book the festive themed Filini Garden and enjoy a beautiful 3-course set menu, with a choice from 4 starter, main and dessert options, including Crostini with butter, smoked salmon, shallots and capers served with raspberry vinegar; Langoustine, Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, white truffle oil, chili flakes, fresh cherry tomatoes and Pecorino cheese; and Brioche-stuffed ice cream and warm chocolate soufflé.

Italians are known for their love of food, friends and festivities – and what better way to enjoy a family feast than at Fillini Garden this Christmas Day? Enjoy endless amounts of seafood and a spread of classic Italian dishes with a Christmas twist, where guests can dine in either Filini Garden or Assymetri throughout the day.

Fulfill your appetite with an Antipasti and Crostini corner, live pasta, pizza, and risotto stations – as well as carving stations, and our Italian specialty cheese selection.
With live entertainment throughout the day for the whole family (after all, Christmas is all about family!) – the little ones will be kept fully amused by our in-house entertainment team – as well as enjoying the bouncy castle and a special visit from Santa!

The Festive packages at Filini Garden

Filini Garden also looks like the perfect location for year-end parties. A spot to celebrate the end of a great 2017 outdoors with friends, colleagues or family.

Special dishes include traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, or Branzino Lamponi E Timo (seared seabass filet, served with a raspberry and lemon thyme sauce) as well as classic Italian Christmas desserts like Panettone Meringato.
