Matsu Abu Dhabi is an authentic Japanese restaurant, located on the first floor at Yas Links Golf Club, Yas Island. Having lived in the UAE for 25 years, Takao Matsutani founded the venue to bring true authentic flavours of Japan to Abu Dhabi, the doors opened in November 2018.
A concept based on true traditions, minimalist virtues and family values, high-quality dishes are taken back to the simplicity and quality of their basic ingredients and components, which embodies an authentic Japanese culinary experience.
A literal Japanese translation of Matsu means ‘pine tree’, and it symbolises longevity, the secret of perennial youth and long life in Japanese folklore.
