Saturdays are meant for long, lazy breakfasts and family time, right?
BU! at The Hub at World Trade Centre Mall, has launched the perfect spot for this, with The Saturday Breakfast Club available every Saturday from 10am until 5pm!
We usually only visit BU! in the evening, so it was lovely to see the industrial interiors in the daylight. We also forgot how large the place is, – it’s massive!
We were presented with The Breakfast Club menu, which had healthy, sweet or savoury options. We chose a number of international dishes including shakshouka (50AED), which was full of flavour, huevos rancheros (45AED) that we felt had a little too much sauce, and their signature pancakes (40AED) which were absolutely delicious, covered in chocolate sauce, wild berries and amongst the piles of pancakes and ice-cream was the surprise of popping candy – a great wake up call!
Drinks were really tasty too, with healthy smoothies, decadent milkshakes, and a range of teas and iced coffees.
The idea behind the breakfast club is to bring the family together, have a relaxed time and share the dishes (good job, as they are huge!). They have a lovely outdoor terrace too, including a table with 4 swings attached, so the kids (or you) can swing your way through the morning!
