This Iftar at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is not only a great deal but an impressive epicurean experience to book!
If you haven’t yet considered booking the Iftar at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi, we urge you to do so.
Why? First of all, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi has a well-deserved reputation of serving Cantonese cuisine using traditional ingredients and techniques with a modern twist that celebrates all senses: a haven for the palate, a feast for the eyes and an exquisite explosion of flavors to experience!
This year again, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi proposes a real treat to its guests with an Iftar Set menu that is a must. Fairly priced at 228 AED per person (serving a minimum of 2 people), this set menu is available daily between 7 pm and 8 pm. Given the number of tables occupied on the night we were there, it looks like the word has already spread.
Booked in for an Iftar for two, we started with a glass of laban accompanied by a contemporary assortment of dried fruits and Arabic sweets neatly displayed on their vertical circular glass tray.
Right after, our waitress brought us a Chinese soup prepared with a variety of wild mushrooms-we could smell the fresh lemongrass. A delight if you are into mushrooms as they were more than seven types to taste.
We went on with two warm starters that are among the Hakkasan signatures dishes: an assortment of three Dim Sum and the Peking duck served with thin crepes to fill with cucumber and spring onion and Hoisin sauce. To be honest, their Dim Sum alone deserves a visit! Awesome edible artworks that taste glorious.
For the mains, we expected we would pick one out the four different options on the Iftar set menu. Actually, you get to taste them all. The spotted bass is quite spicy as it cooked with assam curry sauce. The wok fry ribeye beef served with shiitake mushroom and garlic vinegar sauce is a classic we usually pick.
Our favorite was probably the colorful vegetarian option, stir fry vegetables that comes with gingko nuts which are light and crunchy. It paired well with the edamame fried rice coming aside.
Lastly, the curated feast ends with a vanilla ice cream topped with a date coulis.
This Iftar Set menu is priced at 228AED per person (available for parties of two and more) and is served daily during Ramadan 2019 between 7 pm and 8 pm.
