A new concept store with modern and eclectic furniture from all over the world.

There is a new addition to Abu Dhabi’s decor and design scene – a new concept store that proposes an eclectic choice of high-end fashionable accessories and limited funky furniture from carefully selected worldwide designers. They carry brands that cannot be found anywhere else in Abu Dhabi and it certainly ranks at the top of our list.

Mosaique is an uncluttered store that highlights and showcases its products the same way a boutique or a studio does. It’s a feast to the eyes, let alone the stylish impact it will leave on your home.

We absolutely love the choice of styles in the concept store: from famous Lebanese, Jordanian, North African designers to European designers. The store carries a range of brands such as Seletti, a famous and renowned Italian brand that we personally adore, Verreum, and Egizia to name a few.

We have selected for you a few design pieces that really grabbed our attention.

The timeless stool from Lebanese designer Nayef Francis typically is a fab example of how to bridge tradition with the woven bamboo and the present with trendy and contemporary colors. These elements fit anywhere in the house, as a stool for a party, a side table for everyday use or a sofa table when assembled together.

 

Designs by Jordanian designer, Dina Gildeh who cleverly mixes traditional Arabic designs with contemporary touches, are also available here. Her signature engraved calligraphy trays in aluminum with brightly colored acrylic tops. These unique cut out trays will really stand out in any setting-traditional or modern styled homes.

We were amazed to see the signature lamps from Nayef Francis. We just adore the playful light cup model made out of aluminum and available in yellow, red, black or turquoise.

If you are more into tableware, we totally fell for the double walled opal coffee glasses from Verreum, a design brand from the Czech Republic. These refined and sleek handmade creations are a pleasure for the eyes. They come with silvered plates, available in different sizes for espresso, latté and cappuccino- can be assorted with a wooden tray (oak or walnut) sculpted in one piece. This is all about art and savoir-faire.

For the fashionistas out there, don’t panic as there is also clothes, jewelry and accessory sections with different designers to discover: Dinz – two Palestinian sisters based in Dubai, Suzani from Jordan or J Walking in style and Lama Hourani and Dima Rashid for jewelry. The items currently featured are casual and yet unique with colorful tee shirts and trousers, handcrafted shawls, clutches and golden and silver jewellery with semi precious stones.

So to add a trendy touch to your home, or if you have gifts to do, whether for him, a friend, a kid or you, Mosaique is definitely a top notch spot to head to.
