We’ve found a cobbler in Abu Dhabi that will breathe life into your old shoes – and if your favourite leather handbag needs a makeover too, the service can also be provided.

The passionate craftsman, who has been working in Abu Dhabi for 17 years, works in a tiny store room packed full of German machines, from shoe pressing, to bag and shoe stitching, to press and polishing machines.

Whether a seam is unstitched or a handle is broken, the cobbler promises to repair anything within a maximum of two days. And the great news is that the service won’t break the bank, with prices ranging from 20 AED for high heels to 60 AED for German rubber on half the sole.
