A new community centre for Saadiyat residents
End of March 2016 a new community centre has been opened in Saadiyat, offering a diverse range of new shops and services to its residents and visitors.
The Amwaj centre is located within Saadiyat Beach Villas area and features a Waitrose supermarket, a Starbucks cafe, Tips & Toes beauty salon, Al Manara Pharmacy, all of them are already opened, while the well known Circle Café will be unveiled very soon.
Waitrose supermarket is the first that has opened its doors to residents and visitors of the community, increasing its presence in the UAE with the launching of its eighth branch two months ago. The retailer offers Waitrose products, including essential Waitrose range as well as fresh meat, fruit and vegetables, frozen and non food lines. Bakery and pastry sections are also available.
With massages, facials, waxing, treading and so much more on offer, the newly opened Tips and Toes – the largest and most successful salon and spa chain across the Emirates – is conveniently located for both island locals and Abu Dhabi residents looking to break away from the city.

The new centre will also feature the Redwood Saadiyat Nursery and includes parking spaces for 75 vehicles.
