Well hidden in a home decor store for kids in Abu Dhabi, we just spotted a wide array of Janod playful toys for kids.
Janod is a French brand created in the 1970’s in the Jura mountains area that has built a solid reputation worldwide over years by bringing on the market some creative yet contemporay wooden games. Now available in more than 50 countries, it has also won some awards and labels such as the FSC label, the mark of responsible forestry.
We especially liked the timeless ‘Pirates Battleship’ priced at 165 AED or the very oldish looking ‘Filalapat’ lacing game. Perfect for kids between 3 and 6 years old, it will help them develop strong motor skills and hand-eye coordination while threading laces in the holes of animal cards such as the pelican, fox, octopus or hedgehog.
The store also stocks the ‘Bodymagnet’ priced at 265 AED that help kids over 7 years old learn more about the human body with cards and magnets.
