With school coming to an end and Ramadan starting in June, parents are finding themselves racing to sort out their summer plans. After the holiday is booked, many also have to find a summer camp suitable to their kids’ interests. There’s some good news for parents in Abu Dhabi, as the capital this year has a wide selection of cool camps catering to all ages.
Here’s a short list of summer camps in Abu Dhabi 2015 that fit all interests and budgets.
Summer Brainy Camp at Dots & Links
This camp offers a two-week summer program, a Brain Training Tour, language games, groovy yoga, as well as arts and crafts.

Summer Fun at Mushrif Central Park
The new Mushrif Park will host indoor children’s workshops throughout June and July. The workshops, organised by Merry Makers, will include silk painting, magic tricks, personalized bunting, build your own gingerbread house workshops, a soft play zone and much more.

Activities every Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Ramadan Timings:1-3pm and 9-11pm
After Ramadan: three times a day* (10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm);

My First Gym’s Camp for Kids
My First Gym offers a 10-week summer program of fun filled activities aimed at enhancing physical development, self-confidence, communication skills, motor skills and team-building. Each week will focus on a different theme which will include sports, yoga, arts and crafts, among other classes. As space is limited, you can register online for one day, one week or several weeks.

The Ritz Kids at Ritz Carlton Hotel Abu Dhabi
This program encompasses a a diverse collection of vacation activities based on the four pillars – water, land, environmental responsibility and culture. Kids are swept away by everything from coral reefs and forests, to recycling and sustainability, storytelling, art and even food.
The schedule will include different activities every day and is designed for different age groups.
Each week will be centered on a theme, such as Creative, Around the World, Environment and Best of the Best Weeks. Reservations are recommended as space is limited.

Summer camp at Koolkidz Center in WTC Mall
This summer camp is designed for young kids and proposes a variety of fun activities from tie-dyed T-shirts and jewelry making to Lego creations and science experiments. Kids can also have with karaoke, dancing, arts and crafts, as well as cooking classes.

Pottery and Ceramic Summer Camp
The artistic program is about drawing, sketching, designing, making and painting pottery, while learning how to use the potter’s wheel. Kids can also create jewelry such as beads and pendants with clay.
