AN UPCLOSE LOOK AT SOME AMAZING SEA ANIMALS AND DOLPHINS IN DUBAI DOLPHINARIUM

The Dubai Dolphinarium is an indoor habitat for dolphins, seals and other creatures.

When you think of Dubai and dolphins, we often think of a five-star resort on the Palm.  However, the Dubai Dolphinarium, a far less pricy option, has in fact hosted the UAE’s only dolphin and seal show for years now at Children’s City next to Dubai Creek Park. What’s interesting is that it’s mainly visited by the Emirate’s residents.

At an affordable price of 40 AED a ticket, we went in not knowing what to expect. As soon as the trained dolphins and seals come out, we were immediately taken aback by just how smart these animals are. They play ball with their trainers, sing, dance and event paint. Not to mention, they do a great deal of showing off with ultra-jumps in the air.

The Dolphinarium is also home to the UAE’s only exotic bird show which includes over twenty species of birds and parrots.  It’s an ideal place for children to interact with these amazing creatures and learn about how they live in their environments.
