KINGDOM OF HONEY IN ABU DHABI

Yemeni honey is considered a delicacy and among one of the most highly desired varieties of honey. Unlike other types of honey, Yemeni honey comes from the nectar of the Sidr tree which is an ancient tree in Yemen. The Sidr tree is famous for its phenomenal medicinal value and the honey itself is considered the best in the world as well as one of the most expensive due to its amazing taste, aromatic smell and health promoting benefits.

So when we stumbled across the newly opened Kingdom of Honey and Herbals, a stockiest of Yemeni honey, we were a little bit excited to say the least.

Upon entering the store you are greeted by glass candy boxes full of different varieties of Yemeni honey including dark, light and raw, which you are always welcome to try. But it’s not just honey that is on offer, you will also find an array of quirky oils such as ginger, garlic, black seed and cinnamon. These oils are used as natural remedies to treat different symptoms such as stomach pain, hair loss, acne and the humble cold. They also have a tempting selection of herbal waters such as lavender, mint and thyme, and plenty of herbs and powders from Arabic gum to star anise and sticks of liquorice.

But overall the thing we love most about Kingdom of Honey and Herbals is that all of the products on display have been carefully chosen for their natural health and wellbeing benefits, which in a world so reliant on artificial medications it’s nice to know there are still natural remedies out there.
