A NEW VENUE TO EXPLORE: PEARL LOUNGE IN ABU DHABI

Grand Hyatt Hotel, located at West Corniche, beside, the Jumeirah Etihad Towers, launches something new every month at the hotel since its recent opening in May 2018. Earlier this summer, they proposed guests to visit and experience Pearl Lounge, a sophisticated and versatile new hotspot, open daily from 10.30am until 12am.

The interior design is quite impressive, with colossal pearl chandeliers contrasting with art displays-giving that distinct boutique hotel vibe.

Guests can immerse themselves in an elegant ambiance, unwinding with stylish chaise lounge and sofa seating, both indoor and outdoor with an option for privacy in comfortable booth areas.

 

From lounge, to a chic café, creperie and bar…

Whether it’s morning coffee, sundowners on the terrace overlooking the sparkling Arabian Gulf or a social glass of bubbles before dinner, Pearl Lounge represents a diverse range of places.

The new venue welcomes guests with a daily a la carte savoury – signature menu items include Grilled Lamb Loin, Avocado, Tomatoes, Shallot & Green Chili Lime Dressing and Quinoa Bowl with Cured Organic Salmon, Edemame, Sesame & Poached Egg – and sweet menu, as well as, interactive, live stations including an irresistible creperie, Arabic sweets, rich chocolate delights and seasonal tempting bites.

Afternoon Teas are also served daily, with unique flavours specially designed for Pearl Lounge including the Smoky black pearl, a signature with a blend of Ceylon and China black tea. To complement the experience, a dessert station is available for guests to select their favourites to satisfy their sweet tooth, including oven fresh crispy kunefe, akawi cheese and spiced kumquat compote from the live stations.

Daily Live Music by Rié Furuse – a new Parisian voice

With dedication to ambience, Pearl Lounge welcomes resident artist Rié Furuse, Singer-Pianist, performing daily from 5pm until 9pm until 9th September. A Parisian voice from Japan, guests can expect jazz, fusion, funk and jazz-pop compositions. Notoriously enchanting, the live showcases will include debut new material and classics with the influence of Roberta Flack, Eva Cassidy and Lalah Hataway.

Originally from Japan, Rié studied French literature in Tokyo at Dokkyo University and have since 2009 lived in Paris, a city she rapidly fell deeply in love with and that inspired her singing style. Her passion for French singing, interpreting songs by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, and exploring cultures and languages, she is bilingual in French, English and Japanese, has lead to an international entertainment career. Inspired by universal roots with a cosmopolitan touch, Rié will ensure visitors memorable evenings in an idyllic setting.
