OUTDOOR DINNER BY THE MARINA

Our pleasant casual  experience at The Coffee Club ME in Marsa Al Bateen

Looking for a spot in the promenade area to enjoy a casual dinner with the family in Abu Dhabi? If we add outdoors, pedestrian, with a marina beside the restaurant and wonderful skyline views, we know you will be eager to find out more!

Well, the recently opened Marsa Al Bateen has it all! Located in the Al Bateen area, there is also a conveniently located huge parking area that makes the trip totally hassle-free.

We were tempted to visit The Coffee ClubME located there as they have just revamped their menu and introduced a Go Green section along with new creations.

We had already visited the outlet at Al Forsan Village at breakfast time (review here) and enjoyed the decor.

Browsing the new menu selection, we opted for their salmon with quinoa and greens priced at 84 AED. The Norwegian salmon fillet was well cooked and accompanied with different greens such as cooked kale, spinach, edamame, fennel mixed with some quinoa and pesto. The portion was generous we appreciated that there were more greens than expected.

We also ordered the spicy chorizo spaghetti which was fairly priced at 45 AED. Prepared with fresh spaghetti and spicy beef chorizo, olive oil and parsley, and finished with aged Parmesan cheese, this filling dish had great flavors and was a winner.

We couldn’t help but indulge in something sweet to end the meal. One of us one enjoyed a sparkling frappe (36AED) – as the fizzy water is served on the side of the fruity slush drink. We also ordered a wonderfully aromatic apple crumble (41 AED)-topped with vanilla ice cream and cashews, it was served warm and was devored in no time as the combination worked well (apple, cinnamon, caramel coulis).

The Coffee Club can be found in key locations such as; Yas Mall, Marina Mall, Al Forsan Village, Marsa Al Bateen, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Liwa Executive Suites in Abu Dhabi.
