Wafi Gourmet has opened its first restaurant in Abu Dhabi
Have you noticed that the iconic Wafi Gourmet restaurant had now opened a spacious restaurant and store on the Corniche? Located inside Nation Galleria mall beside St Regis Hotel Corniche, Wafi Gourmet Abu Dhabi is spacious and offers both wide indoor and outdoor settings.
We opted for the outdoor terrace that is on the top floor inside the mall and offers great views of the sea. The outside is open to shisha and so kids are not allowed to eat there.
After checking the extensive menu and mouth watering temptations that were on display inside the store, we opted for a served with freshly baked warm bread. The scampi shrimp and spicy fish were slightly different from the dishes we had experienced before in Dubai but still very delicious.
To our surprise, the menu proposes a Moroccan corner that is a first amongst the Wafi restaurants in the country. Our “Tagine Barbook” prepared with lamb meat cooked in spices, onion and sweetened plum and sesame was juicy and tender.
When you visit Wafi Gourmet Abu Dhabi do wander along the stalls inside the store before you sit down as there are many options of sweets, and other foods all sold per kg.
Also don’t forget to grab the delivery menu as Wafi has teamed up with RSD that will drop off the food right to your home with an additional delivery charge that varies according to your location.
