Be transported to Beirut without leaving Abu Dhabi
Living in Abu Dhabi is a daily delight as we are exposed to so many different cultures, traditions, arts and food specialties. So, today we have decided to list some of the spots that will instantly transport you to Beirut.
Let’s start with the emblematic Lebanese Flower Restaurant, which numerous generations of residents have taken family, friends and visitors. We reviewed this restaurant over 2 years ago (read more here), but it hasn’t gained a wrinkle and can even now claim a new opening in the Muroor area. Check the location map for this recently opened eatery.
If you are looking for tradition with a modern twist then we recommend you give Café Blanc, located on Eastern Mangroves Promenade, a try. The view of the marina and the mangroves is fantastic and the welcoming pedestrian path is perfect for a quiet stroll before breakfast or after dinner. Read more about Café Blanc…
If you’re into the bar scene make sure you check out IRIS Lounge & Restaurant Yas Marina which we recently featured on the website. This lounge bar and restaurant concept was first launched in the heart of Beirut and immediately ranked number one. This trendy and relaxing venue is perfect for chilled out evenings on Yas Marina.
If you’re a fan of design you’ll most probably have heard or seen the artwork and furniture from Nada Debs. Instead of having to visit her great gallery in Saifa Village, Beirut, you can simply head to Bits and Pieces where some of her wonderful creations are sold. Read more about Bits and Pieces …
