Retro style enamel pie dishes
It is never that easy to find vintage style crockery in Abu Dhabi. The good news is that we just discovered Lakeland in Abu Dhabi is stocking an adorable range of enamel cookware that are ideal to use for your daily breakfast or then dessert.
Available in three sizes, they can be used in the oven to make pies or other baked goods. Our personal favourite however, is the smallest size.
Reminding us of the good old times and our mum’s homemade recipes, we have no doubt this kitchen crockery may become a collector’s item. The cherry on the top is the low price as the small individual pie dish is priced at 15 AED only.
The purist can of course still use the oblong pie dish to prepare crumbles or pies as this enamel bakeware can support up to 250 Celsius Degrees.
Oh, and they are dishwasher and freezer safe-making them easy to use.
