Does Al Seef Village ring a bell?

Taking friends now and then for a fitness session at SWEAT, a healthy lunch at NOLU’S or having a sweet delight at MOLTEN ME made us realize this new one stop destination proposing retail, dining and exercise options deserved more of a shout out.

It has been at almost a year that Al Seef Village located in the Khalifa park area progressively opened its doors and outlets throughout last year, it was officially was inaugurated in November 2017.

It has now become a lovely place that has us always coming back as there are some outlets we are currently obsessed with, such as Nolu’s and Sweat.

What makes this ‘village’ particularly attractive is the fact it is totally car free. At first it looks like a compound, with a central swimming pool, colorful villas organized along pedestrian alleys with boutiques and outlets at the ground floor.

With cooler days around, most outlets (cafes, restaurants… ) have opened their terraces along the walking paths for us to enjoy a meal. Quite ideal especially for young parents who wish to take the kids outdoors with the comfort of resting at a terrace and enjoying a quick coffee.

Let’s browse some options we have highlighted so far.

+ NOLU’S +

Perfect for a healthy breakfast or lunch (we love their terrace at the back that is often fully booked), or grab a detox juice or soup. Apart the cafe, they have opened a spot next door – NOLU’S JUICE BAR – to grab a coffee or bite if you are on the go. Ideal actually after your workout at SWEAT (see below).

Once people try this new studio in the city, be assured they are all back for more!
From TRX classes to spinning classes available for different levels (ride, hill and mountain), yoga or meditation sessions, the classes schedule is varied – some classes start before 6am,  and instructors are just fantastic!

A quirky and colorful spot where we recently enjoyed a chai latte accompanied by a cheese naan that was delicious!
Check the ceiling with the hanging chairs that is perfect for a cool Instagram shot.

+ KCAL +

Another interesting joint if you are craving a healthy meal.  They offer a wide selection of salads, protein shakes and more.

We have stopped once at this German organic cafe. A spot to explore if you want a cozy spot with sweet treats.

We first experienced their chocolate cakes in a cup at their very first outlet (our review here). An alternative option to individual cakes and is always a huge hit with those who love dessert.

For those we haven’t visited yet, we just shared their Instagram account below.

A few openings more are awaited such as Royal Orchid, Flame and Bake, Cafe Artea (that tea lovers had probably bookmarked when the shop was located at WTC Souk downtown) and many more to come.
