Ramadan is getting close now and we have just found a great calendar that will with no doubt help the little ones get excited during the month of Ramadan.
Little Farasha just added a Ramadan calendar that is available at 250 AED.
This fabric wall calendar is beautifully embroidered with pockets that are numbered from 1 to 30. You can purchase this calendar either in English and Arabic and you have the choice between two colors: green and purple or yellow and green.
If you don’t know exactly how to use it, there are plenty of options as suggested on the website. Filling each pocket daily with a candy can be a great way to reward kids who start fasting this year, or rewarding them daily for goals to achieve every week is another option.
We also liked the idea that this calendar may help introduce them to the concept of ‘Sadaqa’ so that they can collect and save a coin in each pocket and do a charity action by giving this money when Ramadan ends.
