Bill’s Farm is a homegrown restaurant worth a visit

Back on track after summer, we have great news to share as we just discovered a new area on the way to Heritage Village, close to Marina Mall that all the Abu Dhabi foodies will fancy visiting! We decided to first try Bill’s Farm, a new homegrown concept facing the Abu Dhabi Corniche skyline.

The first thing that caught our attention was the lovely decor. Leather sofas, a huge wooden table hanging from the ceiling, an open kitchen -with a glass- where you see the meat roasting in front of you. It is reminiscent of a trendy ranch that has been transported here from the Wild West and now overlooks the sea and the skyline of Abu Dhabi.

After browsing the menu whilst facing the beautiful turquoise sea, and paying attention to all the decor details – waiter’s uniforms, high chairs and tables in a corner, wall of fresh veggies- we decided to order the Chef’s salad -a vegetarian meal – and the Bill’s Farm burger.

We began with some complimentary olives, spicy cream cheese and Arabic bread straight from the oven. A good start! Next, the waiter brought over a bowl filled with homemade vegetables chips made with sweet potatoes, regular potatoes and zucchini and sprinkled with salt and different spices.

Our order of salad (55 AED) was served in a huge wooden bowl and the helping was generous enough for two to share. Colorful and fresh, it was prepared with salad, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, raisins, soft cheese, sesame seeds and served with a balsamic dressing.

The burger prepared with caramelized onions and cheddar (65 AED) was juicy and flavorful and came along with homemade fries.

As we didn’t have room for dessert, we concluded that we now have that as an excuse to return for more.
