Young adventurers go back in time at Beach Rotana and help some turtles too!
On Make a Difference Day, Beach Rotana will task your young explorers to save the future by going to the past, as they travel through a time tunnel and stumble across Bedouin costumes, a pearling experience and an introduction to Arabian dates and spices.
When arriving in the present day, they’ll learn how recycling works and how to use modern cooking tools for Arabic cuisine. The future will see them testing out alternative energy from wind, solar and even potatoes, whilst budding fashionistas will make jewellery out of recycled materials and bags out of paper.
There will also be an extra special marine life activity hosted by Emirates Wildlife Society in association with World Wildlife Fund – this year’s beneficiary, who are raising awareness of marine turtles.
If you love Arabian flavours, the Bedouin food village will be open to all, showcasing traditional Arabian favourites, while food and drinks will be on sale all day.
