We first heard of Daniel Wellington watches on Instagram. A Swedish watch company, its founder does not believe in traditional marketing and chooses to work with celebrities, bloggers and ‘influencers’ around the world. Once it caught our attention, we became obsessed!
The story behind Daniel Wellington watches began when the founder Filip Tysander, had a chance meeting with a British gentleman with impeccable yet unpretentious style. The man wore vintage watches on old, weathered NATO straps. And his name was Daniel Wellington.
Inspired by his new acquaintance’s timeless style, Filip decided to create his own line of watches. Minimalistic and refined, the classic design with interchangeable straps truly has wide-ranging appeal.
The watches are made for women and men and available in the NATO strap and leather strap. The NATO strap was pioneered by the British navy in the 70s. It is available in a range of timeless color combinations, each strap is interchangeable.
The leather straps are made of genuine leather and are available in a range of shades of brown and black, with a silver or rose gold plated brace.
