A Healthy Alternative to Hot Chocolate
Craving for that decadent chocolate drink but don’t want to consume all those calories?
We were really eager to experience one of the Yogi Tea flavours called CHOCO that we had been searching for months in Abu Dhabi.
Thankfully, we recently got our hands on it at the newly opened Holland and Barret stores in Abu Dhabi that now has 2 locations (Dalma Mall and Bawabat Al Sharq Mall) and must say we were not disappointed.
Inspired from the old Aztec drink called “Xocoati” – a bitter and spicy cocoa bean drink – made out of chocolate, vanilla, pepper and cinnamon, Yogi Tea choco is slightly different as it is a caffeine-free herbal tea.
We adore the gorgeous and subtle chocolate fragrance with a ginger and cinnamon kick.
Indeed, this herbal tea is prepared with Ayurvedic spices blended with pure cocoa shells (65% of the ingredients) from South America.
To enjoy it best, allow the teabag to infuse for at least 7 minutes in freshly boiled water or then for even longer if you wish for a stronger flavor.
The kids will also become big fans of this healthy drink which you can enjoy without adding any sweetener.
