You can actually have both at this newly opened outdoor terrace at Al Muneera.
We had visited Berri’s a few months ago – and tasted their signature lobster pizza there (review here) – and they have now created an outdoor spot to enjoy a lazy breakfast. Better be there early as the 4 tables and cosy sofa are very popular especially on the weekends.
Just be aware that the restaurant is on the first floor and the terrace downstairs, with a corner along the pedestrian promenade. While you quietly sip your latte and enjoy breakfast, kids will have fun playing around, walking, running on the pedestrian plaza and promenade. You also have the Muneera beach and sea right in front of you and it’s delightful to breathe the fresh sea breeze to start off the weekend.
Berri’s now serves breakfast and we are spoilt for choice with more than 10 dishes prepared with eggs, aplenty healthy options, pancakes, breakfast toasties and flatbreads. Better feel hungry when you visit as portions are very generous!
For our first visit, we opted for the bacon and truffle flatbread that comes with sunny side egg are in topped with mozzarella cheese and bechamel sauce.
We also ordered their honey acai berry baked oatmeal that arrived straight from the oven to our table. Cooked with almond milk and egg, topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries, this treat was not too sweet and worth trying.
If you want to indulge on some pancakes, Berri’s proposes a four layered pancakes option that is ideal to share with the whole family. Just be ready to skip lunch as you won’t feel hungry after this indulgence.
