Planning to visit Al Forsan Village ? Here is another cafe that grabbed our attention

Al Forsan Village is well hidden in Khalifa City A, but once there, you will find many delightful options to try out (we recently discovered Street 9 Cafe there). Invited to visit The Coffee Club ME which opened this Spring at the ground floor – it is close to Spinneys supermarket actually – the decor is seducing at first glance and you just want to go try it out.

You may have already grabbed a coffee at one of The Coffee Club cafés in Abu Dhabi as they have three options at Yas Mall, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the trendy new promenade at Marsa Al Bateen. What is different here is this actually is more a restaurant /café than just a coffee spot, as the menu is extensive and includes many breakfast, brunch and lunch options. They also serve all-day breakfast !

We went there at 9am and the spot was quietly and surely getting filled with friends who came for a girly catch up, a couple of people hosting business meetings and others coming to simply grab a quick coffee.

The top to floor window facade overlooking the outdoor plaza is bringing in a lot of light in the café. It is very cozy and contemporary looking with dark metal shelves filled with trinkets, some green pots here and there that add a good vibe to the spot.

The dishes list dedicated to breakfast is quite extensive actually, most of the savory breakfast and brunch dishes include eggs – all organically certified – in any cooking ways from poached, to scrambled or omelette with many different ingredients, mostly priced between 40 and 60 AED.

We went for runny eggs benedict with smoked salmon and sweet coconut hotcakes topped with caramelized bananas and candied cashew nuts. The pancakes were light and tasty with the batter prepared with coconut milk.
