Brunch Around The World is Hilton Abu Dhabi’s revamped lunchtime event.
When we arrive we are led to a table in the all day dining restaurant, La Terrazza. We could have sat in either of their other two restaurants (Jade (formally Royal Orchid) or Bocca), but we preferred being at the centre of it all.
The food choices were a plenty with familiar buffet style dishes, as well as a number of live stations including Bocca, which served Italian pasta and pizza cooked on request, and Jade where crispy duck pancakes were being prepared in front of us. There was also an Arabic station with authentic mixed grills as well as a separate cheese room.
When we visited, we felt that the kids’ area was a little lack lustre. Located in the upper lobby and with a couple of chairs, a face painter and balloon maker. Apparently, there will be a supervised area for kids in the coming weeks, so it may be worth checking before you book, if that’s an important factor.
A new live musician ‘RedOne’ was also belting out some classics with his guitar – the little one in our party had her Daddy up and dancing for over 20 minutes!
