A unique and majestic Iftar experience in Abu Dhabi
We had heard about the quintessential Brunch in the Sky launched at The St Regis Corniche earlier this year that looked totally unique and was very successful.
Intrigued about this location – in the world’s highest suspended hotel suite in Abu Dhabi – we were delighted to receive the very exclusive Iftar preview event.
To access the Abu Dhabi suite that sits 200 metres high between the UAE capital’s Nation Towers’ 48th and 49th floors, we were invited to use a private VIP elevator which made it look very exclusive.
Upon arrival, there were a lot of dried fruits and nuts displayed in the Suite entrance inviting people to break their fast after sunset. Just look up and you’ll discover an impressive cascading crystal chandelier.
This Iftar is unique as the Suite views are just spectacular. It really is a pure delight to watch the colors of the vibrant Abu Dhabi Corniche and sea change from the sunset into the night. While you discover the sea, Lulu Island and the Corniche on one side of the Suite, the other side reserves magical views over Al Bateen Area, Al Horadiyat Bridge, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. A precious short moment that has you feel like you are suspended in the air.
Available for private Iftars of between 35 and 70 people, the Abu Dhabi Suite sits 200 metres high between the UAE capital’s Nation Towers’ 48th and 49th floors.
Comfortably settled in the Regal Suite, we enjoyed the extensive Iftar buffet boasting a myriad of Arabian delicacies – Lamb Ouzi, Dawood Basha, Chicken Molokhia and Ramadan beverages. One large corner of the room is dedicated to starters while a second offers a very wide array of mains.
Leave room for the dessert as the library room dedicated to the desserts has a fantastic mix of traditional Arabic and non Arabic delicacies. The choice was so impressive we could have indulged in an Iftar with sweet options only. You’ll have the very best view on Jumeirah Etihad Towers in the Library Room; so don’t forget your camera if you are one of the lucky few who will have the privilege to attend this Iftar in the Sky this year.
So, whether you are part of a community, firm, it’s time to email your contacts and check if 35+ of your acquaintance are willing to add their name on the list this year to book this private Iftar in the Sky during Ramadan 2016!
Guests can enjoy exclusive use of the entire 1,120 square meter suite, which features a décor that blends Arabian traditions and contemporary sophistication, with 24-karat gold leaf accents, velvet upholstered walls in jewel-toned colors, intricate glass mosaics, and cascading crystals lend a regal air to the entire space.
This private Iftar buffet menu is priced at AED 250* per person.
