During Ramadan, there are two main meals and the day begins with a pre-dawn meal at Suhoor followed by Iftar, the breaking of the fast after Sunset.

As Suhoor ends before the sun starts rising and is the last meal for the rest of the day it has to be filling enough to keep you active and energized throughout the day.
