Every Thursday night, Grand Millenium Hotel hosts a cheese and grape pairing at the Level One Bar and Lounge from 7pm-11pm.

With more than 10 different cheeses to try mostly from France – Fourme d’Ambert, Comté, Mont d’Or, Brie, Emmental, Provolone from Italy)- and free flow of red and wine grapes to experience, the spot was filled with large groups of friends (mainly French actually) who came to catch up, sipping while enjoying nibbles. The cheese are displayed on a large table and are complimented with different breads – there was a gingerbread flavored bagel that was pairing well with cheese, biscuits, nuts and dried fruits such as strawberries, figs and apricots.

The team kept coming back throughout the evening with different varieties of cheese and breads so that everyone could experience the different cheese options. There is a billiard beside the cheese display inviting guests to play a game in between two rounds of tasting. The resident pianist is an added bonus that makes it a spot to visit with a large group of friends but it is not an option we would consider for a night out with your beloved one only as the bar was too informal and lacking atmosphere to our taste.
