This hidden new spot got our vote
We are always are on the hunt for eateries around town that serve tasty yet healthy dishes for lunch. Our latest discovery is the Nolu’s Restaurant second outlet in the Capital, that is now open.
Located in The Galleria Mall, Nolu’s Downtown has a extensive menu packed with plenty of healthy options to try out during lunch downtown. So, if you are on the go in the city, then this is the place to head on over to for a meal. The decor is refreshingly casual with an urban vibe.
With no traffic jams in the area and convenient parking, it is worth a visit as their business lunch option is perfect for people in a hurry that don’t want to sacrifice a tasty lunch. We tried their Baby Salad and Soup option which is priced at 65 AED. You get a cup of the soup of the day served along with a choice of salad (there are a total of 5 to pick from).
The soup was a wholesome and filling and was prepared with barley seeds, yogurt, spinach and lemon. We left nothing in the bowl. For our salad, we opted for the Spinach and Quinoa salad which also had edamame, broccoli, beets and candied walnuts.The Kale Quinoa salad was also a refreshing mix of flavors and came with cherry tomatoes, croutons, parmesan and caesar dressing.
The beverages on the menu are very interesting with many smoothies, mocktail mojitos and different lemonades. Although a visual delight, the lemonade with chia seeds that is supposed to bring a load of vitamins (18 AED), was a bit too sugary for our taste.
A place to remember, it also gives us an excuse to walk around the Galleria Mall, after lunch, and explore the high-end boutiques the city has to offer.

Hidden in the mall, pass by Bentley Bistro and Bar, and go on walking till you find an escalator that takes you one floor up. Then walk a few more meters and the new restaurant will be on your left.
