THE BEST BIRYANI IN THE CAPITAL?

When it comes to comfort food, our biggest weakness is rice – and on days when we feel we deserve a treat, we always drive to our favourite biryani joint located in the hub of Al Markaziyah.

We warn you that there is often a long wait, especially at lunchtimes – but that just shows you how good this place is… With no seating, the tiny spot is simply a pick-up joint serving (in our opinion) the tastiest rice and chicken in town for a mere 13 AED. If you like it spicy, the biryani is accompanied by a spicy sauce. If you prefer it milder, it also comes with a plain yoghurt to cool down the heat.

With a constant buzz and simple, low-key décor, the place can be a little daunting – but we think it is well worth the visit for the very tasty and popular biryani. One mouthful and you will be vowing to return!
