Finding a restaurant with style, an original setting, and truly delicious food may be as rare as winning the lottery, but we have found a hidden gem that ticks all the boxes…

Recommended by Italians for its authentic Italian food (always a good sign), this restaurant-boutique serves Italian specialties in a unique setting, alongside a niche range of Italian homeware products.

We recommend heading to the back of the restaurant, where it feels like you are relaxing in somebody’s else’s home, complete with bookshelves, squishy sofas, and subdued lighting.

Most of the staff are Italian, the service is attentive, and food is 100% Italian – even their burrata is shipped in from the country every week. We recommend their Julienne di calamari e Verdure, as well as the homemade gnocchi that melts in the mouth.

This is the very best Italian food we have found in our three years in Dubai and our one month in Abu Dhabi. And you are absolutely right – sitting in the back of the restaurant is so relaxing. The staff is wonderful and they do deliver on Reem Island. What a great find for us as we start our life in Abu Dhabi!
