With a weather still pleasant at night, why not surprise guests at your next dinner party with an hassle-free and flavourful experience? We recently enjoyed our first spit-braaied barbecue with a company specializing in South-African homemade meat and catering parties, and were highly impressed.
The minimum order is 30 people, with the company arriving at your home three hours before the party starts with their mobile lamb-on-a-spit unit.
Apart from the exceptionally tender lamb, which we highly recommend, make sure you also try their spicy and juicy homemade beef sausages called boerewors, delicious potatoes grilled under the lamb, and traditional polenta pie Pap-tert.
You can get a quote for your party within two minutes online, with the quote based on the number of guests and food options. A party for 50 people will cost you roughly 2,500 AED with sausages and a selection of salads and vegetable dishes. Prices include set-up and cooking, as well as carving and serving of the spit-braaied meat. Be aware that due to the company’s great reputation, you need to book at least a month in advance.
