THE HUNT FOR THE BEST MASALA DOSAS IS OVER

We have just discovered an eatery that serves the best dosas we have ever tried downtown – and we highly recommend it for a visit.

Royal Rajasthan has both a takeaway section (which always crowded at lunchtime) and a simple and clean eatery inside. Try their excellent masalas dosas; a vegetarian Indian dish that will be ready in just five minutes. You will love the thin and crispy  (gluten free) crepe made from fermented rice and lentils, filled with tender vegetables.

The size of this thin crepe is quite impressive, twice as big as the plate it is served on. We chose the ghee masala dosa, filled with spicy potatoes. We promise an explosion of flavours, with mustard and fenugreek seeds, turmeric, onions, and dried chili. We left wanting more.

Better still is the price… Believe us or not, we only paid 12 AED for such a delicious and filling lunch.

Before leaving, don’t miss their delicious masala tea for just 5 AED or their mango lassi if you need a sweet and fruity refreshment at just 12 AED.
