Our first Friday Brunch at The Palace scored high!
Looking forward to spending Friday afternoon outdoors, having a good time with family and friends while indulging on great food in a lively ambiance?
This newly launched brunch at Emirates Palace ticks all these boxes-it really was a memorable experience!
Replicating the European market concept, with plenty of food stalls, filled with fresh appealing bites- think oysters, seafood, Spanish tapas, organic eggs, bakery, cheese corner, coffee, butchery, organic vegetables, is what you will find across the lush gardens of Emirates Palace.
The Chefs at The Palace came up with this appealing idea of organizing an outdoor market where guests just wander from one stall to another and pickup bites and plates-depending on their mood.
This casual atmosphere has a unique garden setting overlooking the pools and the impressive building facade of the Emirates Palace.
Their market brunch concept
The layout is extremely eye-catching as all the stalls are facing each other along a large pedestrian alley in between the gardens and the pools. There is a live band playing relaxed tunes throughout the afternoon-adding to the buzzing atmosphere.
Each stall is labelled-Boulangerie, Juice/Fruit bar, Fromagerie, Pasta E Pizza, Quiche & tart, Organic eggs, Espanã, Oriental Market, Potato Bar, Antipasti, Organic Harvest, Tapas Bar, Vegetable Bar, On The Gill, La Parrilla, Caffeinated Corner, Arabic Sweets, Gelati Crepes, La Patisserie, La Bombonniere.
So, whatever market bite you fancy, you are quite likely to find it here.
We loved stopping by the tapas bar to try the foie gras and scallop toast, watermelon gazpacho, chicken croquettes, codfish piperade and more. The large paella looked quite gorgeous and the chefs kept on preparing more as it was one attracting most guests. If you fancy eggs, the lobster frittata with rucola and patatas bravas, really set the bar high.
If you are in the mood for light nibbles, then the fresh salads, Italian antipasti and grilled vegetables are worth browsing.
We could have spent our entire afternoon at the bakery and patisserie stalls as there were so many tantalizing options to try. From chocolate and nut cookies to fluffy muffins, freshly baked crepes and waffles, brioches, doughnuts and more, the options were just endless.
Moreover, the Pastry Chef was around helping pick the sophisticated dessert options and this added to the experience. Keep an eye out for the combination of pineapple infused with rosemary-simply gorgeous!
The Chefs have truly designed a unique Friday brunch experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend for you to try.
If you are coming with kids, there is an outdoor playground nearby that the little ones can keep themselves entertained.
