Abu Dhabi is known as the multi-cultural capital with all types of international cuisine available but we have struggled to find Turkish eateries in town. And so, when we heard about Kosebasi, we were excited to try it.
With an open plan layout, it has a relaxing and modern atmosphere. Once there, we had to try their signature dish: the Tavuk Kosebasi kebab. Made out of chicken, red capsicums, parsley and Turkish spices, it was tender and satisfying.
Directly served from their wooden oven, the Lahmacun, a thin Turkish pizza topped with ground seasoned lamb, herbs and spices, is another dish we recommend you try as ours was devoured within a couple of minutes.
There is a lot on offer to satisfy any palate, especially for those of you who love eggplant as they have a wide selection of aubergine-based recipes.
Our last important tip: best to bring a shawl when you visit this place as it was slightly chilly!
