We’ve found a new place to dine that offers creative meals and a relaxing atmosphere.

Waterlemon (yes, we’ve spelt that correctly) is the newest restaurant to open in the Al Bateen area.  The interior is light and airy with floor to ceiling windows and there is a stunning outdoor terrace over looking the water for al-fresco dining in cooler months.

They also have salad bar which is packed full of fresh vegetables, meats and cheese for you to choose from. They also bake fresh bread daily, which is included in the price (AED59).

Their desserts menu has so many mouth-watering puddings.  The brownies kit kat is a stack of brownies and kit kat fingers placed in a Jenga type tower covered in chocolate sauce and topped with ice cream and pavlova strawberry is light and rich in flavour, but both were way too big for one person!  You should also try crispy chocolate chunks – frozen banana and nutella in filo parcels.

The kids loved the activity sheets as well as a variety of juices and large pizzas, big enough to share.
