Ready to go raw?

For health-conscious foodies in Abu Dhabi it’s now easier than ever, especially thanks to Reem Island mum, Marilyne Defer.

The doula and healthy living-advocate wasn’t always a green eater but became more conscious of her body’s needs after failed attempts at losing weight through yo-yo dieting. For the past three years now, her passion has grown so much for transitioning to a plant-based diet that she’s felt a need to share her raw tips with rookies in the capital.

Raw Bounty Ball

In this workshop, join her in the kitchen for a hands-on tutorial on how to introduce more raw food at home, the difference between smoothies and juicing, and the benefits of sprouting and dehydrating.

Of course, recipes will be shared and tried, so walk with an empty stomach and a thirst for knowledge.

This workshop’s menu: cold press green juice, smoothie, vegan ricotta cheese, Gazpacho Andalou and raw croutons, wraps, raw maki rolls, lasagna, zucchini noodles, bounty balls.
