Never tasted Korean Food in Abu Dhabi?
Those who know us well are aware of our obsession with Korean food. So its no surprise that we went for lunch to the very obscurely located Hankook Korean.
In typical Korean style the atmosphere is extremely casual. The tables were buzzing at lunchtime with a mix of Korean parties and other nationalities (always a good sign).
We opted for the more traditional route and asked to be seated in one of the many enclosed dining rooms. The room has floor seating that requires everyone to leave their shoes outside and sit-cross legged around the wooden table.
The menu is overwhelming for anyone not familiar with the cuisine but the thumbnail-sized pictures give a good indication of what to expect. We recommend sticking to the better-known dishes including Pulgogi, Beef Ribs and the Pancake.
The food is good and the prices are affordable. A no-frills affair we will definitely be back whenever we need to satisfy our cravings for spicy, ethnic cuisine (in the private dining room, of course).
