Next time you visit The Galleria Al Maryah Island and are in the mood for something healthy, there is a brand new concept that deserves a shout out. Located on the waterfront promenade, between La Petite Maison and Almaz By Momo, The Healthy Shop is the first of its kind, health-conscious and multi-brand restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
A good new healthy option worth sharing with your friends or colleagues who work on Maryah Island and want healthy food to grab while on the go!
The team behind the new Abu Dhabi concept are the founders of Skinny Genie located at Masdar City that was revamped in June 2019 and became The Healthy Shop.
The brand philosophy remains intact though focusing on providing tasty healthy homemade recipes that are fairly priced. The main difference is they have now partnered with other brands to create a food-hall of healthy foods.
Apart from the variety of bowls The Healthy Shop prepares and sells – poke & power bowls, Mexican Tacos and bowls, what makes their concept quite unique is they also carry food and beverages from different Abu Dhabi and Dubai based F&B partners we are fans of.
This includes some popular labels based in Abu Dhabi such as Sushi Central, The Raw Place and their organic cold-pressed juices, Italian healthy food from Dolci & Caprici.
On top of it, The Healthy Food brings to Abu Dhabi new Dubai based options such as savory options like Gourmet Sandwiches from Prime Gourmet Sandwiches, and a large variety of desserts for those who have a sweet tooth but want to enjoy the healthy version.

We stopped by their restaurant on the opening day and indulged in a yummy Mexican vegetarian bowl: red and yellow peppers were served warm and spicy, upon a bed of rice, with fresh smashed avocado, corn, and salad. The portion was generous and filled us up.

We also decided to indulge on a guilt-free small Keto cake filled with a blueberry puree. Sugarfree, gluten-free, it was a nice pick.
The other good news is they have an online website via Zomato or Talabat where you can order food and beverages from their kitchen and their different partners and get delivered anywhere, both in Abu Dhabi and its outskirts (thanks to the 2 locations they now have across Abu Dhabi: Al Mariah Island and Masdar City).
Open from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 12am on weekends.
