La Crème Brûlée Maison now open
Is this a new trend in Abu Dhabi? After discovering a cafe dedicated to the Portuguese dessert, Nata Lisboa (read our feature here), we recently spotted another cafe that focuses solely on the well-known French dessert, Crème Brûlée.
Tucked away in an under construction section of the Muroor Area, check our map above as we promise this tiny new cafe located at the bottom of Al Dana Tower is worth visiting.
We obviously tried their original ‘Crème Brûlée François Massialot’ flavored with Vanilla and it was simply amazing. We really adored the thick and creamy texture and the appealing vanilla aroma from the fresh beans.
If you are a fan of the French culture and gastronomy, the menu gives some insight about this dessert and you’ll learn it was first served by François Massialot a Chef at the Palace of Versailles.
The French Chef was around the day we popped over and he informed us that he had carefully handpicked the best ingredients to master this dessert, with pistachios from Iran and Spain and vanilla from Madagascar.
The menu also features six other Crème Brûlée variations including nutella, dates, raspberries, espresso, pistachio, saffron and camel milk. Each dessert is priced at 25 AED and comes in a glass cup with a golden cover. Apart from enjoying these sweets in the cafe, customers can also bring them back home to enjoy with family and friends.
This is definitely a new spot to experience in town with kids after school or to socialise with friends.
