The Original Hamburger chain Johnny Rockets opens new locations in Abu Dhabi

An All American Favorite

Johnny Rockets – ‘The Original Burger’ – is an international diner chain that’s been around for 28 years and has over 300 outlets in the US and internationally.

So if you fancy a blast from the past or a throwback experience of the classic Americana days, Johnny Rockets is the place to go.

Founded by American fashion retailer Ronn Teitelbaum in June 1986, the Johnny Rockets American diner concept is based on the timeless tale of Johnny Appleseed and his classic Oldsmobile Rocket 88.

The restaurant’s interior is a throwback to the 1950’s when “Grease” was the word, and rock and roll and drive-in movies were all the rage. Think decorative stainless steel trimmings, juke boxes, fake red leather upholstery, colorful neon signs, black and white prints, and old-school posters, which all add to the fun and family-friendly dining ambience.

The menu consists of “all-American favorites” like burgers, milk shakes and fries, as well as salads, hot dogs and a sandwich or two to round things out. Although it’s their famous 1/3 pound hamburgers, which are made with 100% fresh, all-natural beef, and their thick and creamy shakes and malts that the chain is known for.
