We checked out Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s newly launched Saturday Backyard BBQ.  The package was for a minimum of four and included our very own picnic basket full of meats, fish and veg to cook ourselves, on a grill which was located next to our table. For dessert was a fruit platter as part of the package.

We were feeling a bit embarrassed of our BBQ skills, but luckily the chefs were around to help us out with the grilling. We also received drinks in the shape of a bucket of hops or a two bottles of grape as part of the package, as well as a really cool pineapple mocktail for the little one.

The activities were great for the young one in our party who spent most of the time on the bouncy castles, lazing around on the bean bags waiting for the al – fresco movie to start, and dancing around whilst the live musician played the saxophone. The best bit about the whole experience is that we were able to use the pool for the entire afternoon too!

Backyard BBQ – every Saturday from 1pm till late.  Priced at AED490 for soft beverages and AED690 for house beverages package. Minimum 4 people.
