FANR, located in the newly developed Saadiyat Island, is top of our list for lazy mornings. Hidden inside Manarat Al Saadiyat, the cultural hub of the island, the eatery is large and airy, with a beautiful outdoor courtyard and plenty of seating.

Full breakfast starts at 70 AED, with a choice of fresh juices, brewed tea and coffee, croissants, muffins, fruits, and live cooking stations. If you fancy something simple, there is also an al a carte menu with classic options including (our favourites) Poached Egg on Baguette (42 AED) and French Toast (42 AED). A gourmet section sells a selection of fine food and delicious treats, including pots of sweet honey and juicy raisins.

The casual vibe and simple, al fresco food at FANR makes it the ideal spot to make the most of the current cooler temperatures. We’ll meet you in the courtyard…
