Stay up to date with the cool new cafes that opened since mid-2018

Year after year, the Abu Dhabi coffee scene continues to grow. Given the popularity of our 2018 edition (see our two articles below), we decided to share with you – ahead of visiting them all – the top new places which are on our to-do list in the next coming weeks.

And don’t worry, we’ll make sure to update you with our favorites.

Moni’s Cafe

If you are into healthy food, you may have seen Moni’s Healthy Choice brand around. They are known for their energy balls and healthy snacks that are sold at Souq Planet Bateen, Yum market Bateen, Yum market Khalifa Park and Yogaone. Moni’s has now opened a healthy cafe at Al Bandar in February 2019. We cannot wait try her homemade scones, acai bowls, and more healthy options.

Open Sunday-Thursday | 7 am to 8 pm
Friday & Saturday | 9 am to 7 pm

Meraki Cafe at Al Reef Downtown Abu Dhabi

Those who cannot resist a good cafe will make sure to stop by Meraki cafe and roastery anytime they drive around Al Reef. Their Instagram account is quite addictive and on a daily basis shows the different coffee grains they have selected – from Brazil, Ethiopia, Rwanda- and the corresponding flavors. We cannot wait to go try one of their specialty drinks such as the Spenex or Spanish latte or Tonic Cold Brew.

The One Bistro

If you have lived here for a few years, you probably still miss The One cafe close to BMW showroom near Corniche. Good news as since March 2019, The One reopened a brand new bistro located in Al Mushrif area. Time to go into town and plan some serious home decor shopping while sipping coffee and trying their food!

Snooze

Both The Patio and The Deck at Snooze look like a cozy place to hang out and sip an iced latte. This cool cafe is located at Umm Al Emarat park and is open daily from 7 am until midnight.

If you just need a quick pick me up, they also sell bottled drinks. If you are into flavored drinks, they have different options such as popcorn latte, nutella latte, pistachio extreme, lavender white mocha and black lemonade to name just a few.

Bn cafe

Also located in Al Mushrif area, Bn Cafe appeals to our palate with a couple of mouthwatering homemade desserts such as cannoli, twisted blaleet, caramel cheesecake, banana French toast and homemade basbosa.

Open daily from 7 am to 11 pm from Sunday to Thursday (9 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday), this coffee spot serves Emirati and Arabic breakfast all day.

Cupital Cafe at Khalifa Park

Still in their soft opening, this cafe is also on our list since we first saw their Insta feed with the San Sebastien cheesecakes. We can’t wait to go try them out.
This brand new cafe is open daily from 9 am until 9 pm and is closed on Fridays.

Nolu’s at Abu Dhabi Ladies club

Already addicted to all their healthy bites, salads, and mains – the homemade mantis is the comfy dish we always go back for- we are eager to pay a visit to the latest venue Nolu’s opened in Abu Dhabi (the decor looks stunning). This new spot is located inside Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, a large building close to Armed Forces Officers Club.

Dolci I Capprici Cafe

This is a spot where we probably had the best espresso in Abu Dhabi last year, and where we stop anytime we crave a brioche.

This should be your go-to you miss grabbing savory or sweet baked items with an Italian flair, as they serve a variety of excellent baked goods fairly priced.
